Senior Portraits Made Easy for You and Your Teen

Are you feeling lost about senior pictures? Don't stress- I’ve worked with many parents over the years, and I’ll walk you through what to expect so your teen feels confident.

The milestone of graduation brings back a lot of memories and a bit of pressure. You want photos that capture your child perfectly. You may be asking:

How Long Will It Take?
Busy schedule? No problem-my Studio Session is only 30 minutes long.

What Should My Senior Wear?
It depends on what image they want to  project. Some teens might grab a wrinkled t-shirt, thinking it’s fine, but these are heirloom photos. I recommend at least one timeless outfit like a suit, dress, or solid sweater (in a color that match their eyes).

They can bring more than one outfit. I  recommend both a classic outfit and a trendy outfit, plus something random that's unique to their senior year.

Will My Teen Feel Comfortable?
It’s normal for most of my subjects, especially shy ones, to feel uneasy at first. I’ll walk them through it so they relax and enjoy the process. I never share images online without their approval, making sure they stay in control!

What’s Everyone Else Doing?
You may want a baseline of what other high school seniors are doing so your kid doesn’t feel left out (or maybe your teen does their own thing- which is great, too!) When we chat, I'll let you know what other students are choosing this year. Trends change pretty often.

Reviewing the images together is my trick to make sure clients are satisfied with them! It’s a collaborative process- you’re in control!

-Can We Get Both Traditional and Creative Photos?
Yes, I create both timeless shots and unique, creative ones so you have a variety to choose from.

-How Do We Pick the Best Photos?
We’ll meet in my studio a few days after the session. I’ll project the images on a big screen, and we’ll pick your favorites together. You’ll take home any purchased images that day.

-What If My Kid Doesn’t Like Them?
No worries. I guarantee they’ll love the results. Because we meet in person to review the photos, if something’s off, we’ll fix it together. If your teen doesn’t feel satisfied, I’ll refund your money!

-How Much Will It Cost?
There is a Session fee of 175 for a Studio Session (call for a quote on an Outdoor Session).

Images are purchased separately at 125 each, which includes both the digital file and a 5”x7” mounted, archival print. Expect to spend between 550-1800, depending on how many images you love.

-My focus is on quality, not quantity, so expect to view a curated set of thoughtful, artistic portraits- not a flood of files. Flexible payment plans are available if you end up loving all of them- please ask!

-When Will I Get Them?
As soon as you choose your favorites! Digital files are delivered right away- prints take about two weeks longer because of careful, quality printing.
